AUGMENTING ANIMA '23 Performance Workshop
Eine Woche Zeit um eine Tanzperformance vorzubereiten. Auf Basis eines Konzepts werden alle TeilnehmerInnen involviert in Tanztraining, Choreographie, Schauspiel, Outfit Design, Set Design – ein Team von KünstlerInnen entwickelt kollaborativ Ideen, die dann mit dir und allen weiteren TeilnehmerInnen umgesetzt werden.
Es gibt Erfahrungen, die von allen geteilt werden, Ideen entstehen im Team. Es geht uns um den Weg, den künstlerischen Prozess, so wie um das Ziel, um das Kunstwerk selbst. Man lernt bei ANIMA, was es heißen kann, sich in einen künstlerischen Prozess zu begeben und etwas gemeinsam zu erschaffen. Es geht um die Erfahrung im Team.

PERFORMANCE CONCEPT:
A performance that attempts to bring nature into the city. It raises the following questions: are we, as humans, natural beings? Can people assume the role of nature in the city, imitating what creatures we are? Are we part of biodiversity? In what form can nature occupy space in the city, what significance does it have, and where are the boundaries between nature and art/artificiality?
We bring a poppy field into the city by transforming ourselves into it and becoming artificial poppy beings. It's 30 minutes of supernatural normality in which the poppies move freely on the meadow, dance, interact with each other, and respond to their surroundings. The human tries to be nature, to mimic nature - what position can, wants to, and should the human occupy?
